Join TGD

If you want to join TGD then we would be happy to have you. But we can’t just accept everybody that asks, that wouldn’t work. So here is what you have to do to become a member of our team.

We need to have proof that you indeed can write properly. This is why you need to submit articles to us before we will accept you as a member. The rule of how many articles needed to be submitted is simple, 3 posts and we will review your writing ability and make a decision as a Team. If you wish to submit an article to us what you need to do is send us a copy at thegamerdimension@gmail.com.We will take a look at it and should it be a good enough quality post it will be posted in the TGD Guest Writers account. We don’t have a character minimum or anything like that though, setting restrictions like that would be silly. There is only so much a person can say about something without repeating themselves so it just wouldn’t be fair.

Ofcourse if you don’t wish to be a full-time member of TGD you don’t have to. That’s what the Guest Writer account is for. If you just want to post the occasional article we’d be happy to have it.

So you passed that part? Good job, but that’s not it. We don’t work with tight deadlines usually, but that doesn’t mean you can be lazy. We still want to see your articles, or that your at least planning articles. It’s fair enough if you decide to write something then don’t feel like it later on. Human nature and all that. But if it looks like your not even trying we will have to give you a deadline to give us a finished article. If that deadline isn’t met, we’d still be happy to receive future articles, but we will have to drop you from the full-time team. After all it’s not fair on us if you aren’t pulling your weight.

So here is a summary:

  • Write articles.
  • Submit them to thegamerdimension@gmail.com
  • After 3 are submitted we’ll offer you a place on the team.
  • Keep up the work and you’re a part of TGD.

At this point I would like to remind people viewing this page that TGD is run entirely free. Writers do not get paid for their articles and they do not get review copies unless they have sorted that out for themself. We use our own money to buy what we review and do not expect payment for what we spend our own time writing.

We hope this page has helped you hopefuls and look forward to reading your articles in the future.
